Oasis spa

It is praised like heaven-like Spa
We were struggling on going to Divana Spa or Oasis Spa and I read an article , it describes Oasis Spa is the spa you have to try once in a life time and Oasis Spa give customers heaven like experience  , both of them target to high end market and provide the high quality spa service . If you must compare them , the price of Oasis spa is  a little bit more expensive than Divana spa and the environment , service is better.

As we are on honeymoon , we chose Oasis spa.

Oasis Spa has branches in Bangkok, Chiang mai, phuket, pattay, it has own Thai Oasis Spa school and travelers can learn Thai massage there.

A Friendly reminder , if you would like to go to Oasis Spa , I would recommend you to make an online appointment first as it is quite popular among Thailanders too  , you can get discount in the kklook .
Actually , it is the third time I do Spa in my life , the first two times I had it in Bali and it was a nice experience , at least I tried the flower bath there.

When we arrived Phuket nature hotel , the appointed shuttle bus came to hotel pick us up , there are some Aromatherapy in the car , it makes you feel relaxed , it’s like lemon , lemongrass mixed together.

There are some catalog about the spa package in the car as well.

The package I chose is “Journey Paradise Oasis” , the total time is 3 hours and my husband chose Journey-Ocean King, is is also 3 hours , the price is 9999 THB in total .

When we arrived Oasis Spa and the building is Exotic style and elegant , the wall is blue violet painted, your vacation mode will turn on in this arcadia; , it is a retreat away from the turmoil of the world.

If you have been to Morocco , you will know in the middle of the hotel , there are a swimming pool and you will see one in here too , it is in the middle of two human like vase .

 When we entered to the Oasis Spa , the staff leaded us to the sofa and then serves us a plate of refreshment , which has a icy towel with lemongrass smell and a herbal tea .

The herbal tea is made of Butterfly Pea flower and it is quite sweet .

And  then they give you an questionnaire , you can select the massage strength in it and also it has question about your health situation and if you are on period , pregnant  , do you wear lens?…I think it is very good and also very thoughtful .

After a while  , the staff introduced us our Masseuses and leaded us to the massage room for changing clothes , it is a very big room with bathroom and a living room with 2 sofas .

There is a cloth for you to cover your body when you do the Spa, and then after changing clothes , the Masseuses leaded us to the Herbal stem room .(Please note that you cannot wear the lens in the herbal steam room, it is for your safety sake)

When we entered the herbal steam room , the Masseuses wait you outside the room and there is a towel put on the stone and you can sit on it and enjoy the steam process . The wall are like crystal , regardless of the texture and the outlook, we feel like we are in the crystal cave and feel peaceful and relaxing.

 After 15 mins stem , the Masseuse leaded us back to our room and then I  laid on the bed and do the  scrub. The first touch is warm when the Masseuse put the scrub on me , it smells like almond , in fact , it is the mixture of honey , sesame and grain , it helps you remove the stratum corneum

And then I  took a shower  to clean all the scrub then the Masseuse will use thai herbal mud  mask to put on  my body , it helps deeply clean the  pores and also moisturize the skin  and then they use the cloth to warp my body and wait for a while and then I went to bathroom to wash it.

Then it goes to the massage part , the Masseuse used the refreshing massage oil to help me to massage , it helps me activate blood circulation. Personally, I cannot take too much strength during the massage or I will get bruise easily. I think the strength is not very strong , it is acceptable.

Finally, the Masseuse put a Oasis thai Royal facial on my face , they put the orange oil on my face and massaged for a while and then finally they put a mud mask on my face and and wait for a while and then washed it.

After we took a shower and then the Masseuse waited us outside the door and led us to the reception place and served us a fruit plate with watermelon, pineapple and a herbal tea.

And then after we finished it , they arranged a car to send us to the dinner place.

For my husband , he thinks the massage strength is not enough for men   .

In term of the environment , we will give full mark to them and the staff are very nice and warm , the service is unbeatable .

There are some areas I think they can make improvement, for example , I think the elastic band is too tight and made me lose hairs><.

Let's Relax Spa-

Lets’s Relax Spa  is a Spa shop running over 20 years, it has branches in all over Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, Samui, Hua Hin , there are 12 branches in Bangkok .  surprisingly , the price is relatively cheaper in Bangkok branch.

We went to the Bangkok branch to give it a try and we made appointment in advance .

When we entered Lets’s Relax Spa  , the light is  not bright which you can feel less stressed here.

We queued in the reception and told them the spa we appointed, the one I chose is “ Phuket Day Dream (Single)”after 15% discount it is 3400THB, the original price is 4000THB , so remember to make online appointment before you go there .

“ Phuket Day Dream (Single)” includes Flower Bath /Thai Herbal Stem 30 mins, body scrub /body wrap 60 mins , aromatherapy massage 60 mins, facial treatment 60 mins, my husband appointed the Thai Massage ( 2 hours) Back & Shoulder Massage。1300THB。

Sadly , the staff told me the flower bath is not available anymore, I am quite disappointed as I don’t really like the stem . the last time I had flower bath was in Bali and it is very common and included in the Spa package.

And then Masseuse asked if I need to go washroom then after I got out from washroom, the Masseuse disappeared then I went to check with the receptionist, she asked me to wait for another Masseuse , I feel confused. 

After waiting 5 mins , one Masseuse came out , she looks like middle age and then she led me to a stem room in another floor and the door sign show it is for men ~.~ , I guess they don’t have enough stem room for ladies…it is like a big room which has mirror and shower place , stem room and a chair.I was told to stay at stem room 40 mins and someone will come to pick me up. I cannot imagine to stay at the stem room for 40 mins, I saw there are instruction outside the stem room , it says” rest after staying in stem room every 15 to 20 mins.  

After 30 mins, a staff came to ask me to go to leave , I am confused  as they ask me to stay at the stem room for 40 mins. And then they seem do not understand what I said and another Masseuse  came to lead me to the massage room , It is big and the light is soft and not bright and there is a shower room with opaque glass in the lower half.

There are two massage bed and the Masseuse put a paper on the bed and then put the scrub  on my body , the strength and skill is good and then I took a shower and then she help me to do the aromatherapy massage , i think the strength is quite strong and repetitively strongly squeeze my leg and there are bruise when I finish that , it lasted for 2 weeks… After my honey moon finishes , the bruises finally are gone…

Actually I chose the relax oil for the aromatherapy massage , what I can smell is Cymbopogon instead of relax oil …

And then finally , she massaged my face after cleaning it and slightly massage it with scrub, my skin is sensitive and got little red after the massage and she put a mud mask on my face . I think the facial part is better than Oasis Spa.

During the spa time , I can clearly hear the car nose outside the building . if you are someone cannot sleep easily , you may not be able to fall asleep during the spa time.

Overall  I think the price of  Let’s relax spa is reasonable and service can be improved .

First I think  the Masseuse can let customers head put inside the hole in the bed , there has no hole in the head part so it’s  not comfortable when you do the back massage.

I heard that from a friend that they will serve Mango sticky rice after you finish the Spa but we only got 

 the coconut egg roll , it is quite delicious and crispy, the ingredient is healthy

If you want to compare these two SPA shop , I think the facial part of let’s relax spa is better than Oasis Spa  .

In Oasis , the  Masseuse takes care of you from the beginning to the end and you will not get lost or confused 

during your spa journey and the environment is amazing , it helps you relax and release your stress.
